The Standard Field Bag No. 2003 is designed by Dustin Spencer of Vermilyea Pelle in Wenatchee, Washington, USA, where it was also produced by Dustin for over a decade. Initial Impressions of the Standard Field Bag No. 2003

I just received the Standard Field Bag No. 2003 and I'm really impressed with how it presents itself. The quality and attention to detail are evident in every aspect of the product. All the hardware, including the magnetic snaps, feels very sturdy and well-made. My old 16" MacBook Pro fits snugly into the designated slot, my new 16" MacBook Pro is a bit thicker and it does not fit (I am using the main compartment to store it).
As expected from a full-grain 6-8oz leather product, the bag is not lightweight, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's a solid, robust bag with no lining, which actually adds to its durability. I haven't used it yet, but I'm looking forward to putting it through its paces and updating this review after some daily usage. Overall, I'd definitely recommend the bag to anyone in the market for a high-quality leather bag.
