Background: My father taught me how to make belts when I was in Junior High School. We mostly used belt blanks and buckles from Tandy Leather who was a very good company many years ago, i.e. circa 1969-1970. The belt I've been wearing for the last 50-55 years was one I made from a Tandy belt blank and has a brass buckle that also came from Tandy.

I recently tried to recreate my current belt for my son-in-law in California for his birthday since my belt lasted me 50+ years. Unfortunately, the quality of Tandy's belt blanks is not what it used to be, nor the buckles. Ultimately, I produced a good quality belt that fits him and should last many years.

That is the background of what I was thinking and feeling when I viewed your website. I figured I'd give your company a chance, and per above I couldn't be happier that I did. The belt you sold me is outstanding in every respect.

Love this belt, love that this is the un-dyed version, just straight natural leather color. I plan to oil it once in a while to darken it up and let it patina.
